Cherry Classics Published Works

I was given the opportunity to have an arrangement published by Mr. Gordon Cherry and later distributed to other companies such as Hickeys Music Center. I hope to someday have some of my originals published and a few more arrangements.

NYU Film Class Mock-up Original Music Compositions

I had taken a few classes that required original music compositions to be composed to each of the following student film clips that I chose. Each project took me one or two days to get the timings, phrases, tempo, cue sheet, notation, mixing, and editing completed. I pushed myself to try and write pieces to each clip in a real world fashion, requiring the least amount of instrumentation and in the fastest time allowed in the budget. In this case scenary, I allowed myself two days.

MSU Music Technology Class Final

For our final project, our class had to combine midi and acoustic sounds to create a self-portrait. I took it a step further and integrated my voice as a trombonist over pictures that were taken by me in the past. The poetic phrase in each photo and expressed during the end credits, expresses my perspective of the past, present and future. Using this perspective I attempted to create music that represented the words and the pictures in which they appear. The entire piece is trombone alone. There are no other instruments or engineered sounds. The only manipulated sound, is the trombone recording.
